Austin Fun Music Facts

The pilot episode of Austin City Limits, the longest-running live music television show in history, taped on October 17, 1974 at KLRU's Studio 6A, located in Communications Building B on the University of Texas campus.  Willie Nelson was the first performer.  The first song sung?  "Whiskey River."  Final song of the show? "Roll in My Sweet Baby's Arms."
